EDUCATING EMPLOYERS FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW
As of the inception in 2020, the goal of the Stanislaus County Employer Advisory Council (SCEAC) is to promote a strong and collaborative partnership with the business community of Stanislaus County, through providing resources, learning and education along with hiring solutions. SCEAC members are a cross section of locally employed and retired volunteers who join with County staff to assist the employer community to do business more effectively and to promote ongoing communication.
Our focus as a community-based organization is to the employer community and to business owners and their employees who make up our diverse community.
2026 Events
The SCEAC offers a variety of events tailored to provide up-to-date information on a variety of key topics to ensure our business community has the necessary and needed learning and education on issues that affect them. Please refer to our calendar for our latest learning and education events.
Providing meaningful, relevant and current topics from those who are in the know and have experienced these issues first hand.
We encourage your ideas and feedback on topics that you feel are important and poignant in today’s world.

About Us
A Statewide Network
When you become a member of the Stanislaus County EAC, you also become a member of the California Employment Advisory Council (CEAC). The CEAC is a nonprofit, statewide umbrella organization for more than 50 local EACs throughout the state. The CEAC and local EACs are recognized by state and federal government as important information resources on employment and workforce development issues. The EACs also support local workforce development efforts including sponsorship of job fairs and veterans’ outreach programs and scholarships for local youth.

Monterey County Business Council (MCBC)
This Women’s History Month, we’re excited to celebrate our very own Monarch Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Business Advisor, Lourdes Uranday, MBA-HRM, WOSB, for her role in uplifting women and helping them achieve their goals. Aside from being an incredible business advisor, she is also the Executive Director and Founder of the Be Anything Museum (BAM!) in Modesto, which houses the largest permanent collection of Barbie and other iconic role models, offering visitors a journey through the remarkable stories of those who have defied the odds to achieve greatness.
Uranday was recently recognized by the Modesto City Council, which presented her with a proclamation in recognition of Women’s History Month.
Uranday describes the museum she founded as a haven of empowerment and inspiration, “a place where you can find the courage and inspiration to be your best self.” Committed to supporting entrepreneurs, it also features a business resource center where experts in essential business fields offer training sessions.
