Membership Dues Solano Napa EAC does not have a yearly Membership dues. We provide Seminars and Webinars with a fee and your fees go to a scholarship fund or veteran award. You are automatically an Solano/Napa EAC member once you have paid your first seminar or webinar event and are entitled to all of our membership benefits. As a member of the Solano / Napa EAC, you have access to benefits including the Management Hotline staffed by a labor law attorney providing legal assistance to specific questions regarding employer-employee issues and the Conflict Resolution Help Line operated by a behavioral strategist and expert on employee engagement assisting in resolving conflict, communication, and behavior issues within the workplace.

Charo has been with the SNEAC board since 2016 and is the current Board Chair. She is committed to supporting all HR colleagues in both counties by providing affordable and accessible learning resources in the area of Human Resources.

Service To The Community
Solano Napa Vice Chair, Eileen Graham awarding a $4000 check to Dr. Celia Esposito-Noy, Superintendent-President of Solano Community College and Curt Johnston, Solano Community College Educational Foundation. The money will be used to provide scholarships to continuing students.
The Solano/Napa EAC distributes funds to community or public organizations that assist individuals in finding or preparing for employment:
In 2018 The EAC awarded $4000 to Napa Valley Community College. The donation will be used to fund dour scholarships for continuing students.
In 2017 Solano Napa EAC awarded $8000 to Solano Community College to be used for student scholarships. They also donated $1000 to the Youth Employment Opportunity Program of the Employment Development Department. The money will be used to fund the annual Northern Davison conference.
In 2016 Solano/Napa EAC donated $1045 to the Employment Development Department’s Youth Employment Opportunity Program (YEOP). The donation fully funded sending 50 student assistants and their program mentors to the Northern Division annual YEOP conference.
In 2013 Solano/Napa EAC awarded $4000 each to Mare Island Technology Academy (MIT) in Vallejo and Community Action Napa Valley (CANV). MIT will use the funds to reconstruct up-grade and re-energize their internship program. Funds will cover teacher’s pay and costs for software. CANV will provide support to their Culinary Training Program, a program which imparts job training, experience, and life skills to facilitate employment for the disadvantaged population.
In 2012 Solano/Napa EAC awarded $3500 each to each of two local agencies; the Vallejo Adult School (VAS) and Community Action Napa Valley (CANV). VAS will use the funds to establish a Cisco Networking Academy. This Academy will provide training in the high demand field of information communication technology. CANV will use the funds to support their Culinary Training Program, a program which imparts job training, experience, and life skills to facilitate employment for low income and Shelter clients.
The Solano/ Napa EAC awarded $2500 each to two Solano County Office of Education student programs. Solano Jobs for Youth and Test Drive Your Life programs are programs which are designed to help youth discover and pursue their interests, skills and abilities to bridge them from school to the world of work and higher education. They also funded the Career Technical Education program. The money will be used to provide a career portfolio to each of the students who transitions through the program.
The Solano/ Napa EAC awarded $5000 to the Napa County Office of Education Regional Occupational Program. The money will be used to pay stipends to the 500 students in the Seed to Table Project. This innovative program brings together the Ag, Retail Sales, Graphic Arts and Culinary Arts classes to provide students with an opportunity to apply their classroom learning while building employability skills.
In November 2006 the EAC donated $2500 to the Napa County Office of Education’s Workplace Learning Academy. This program serves students from the Juvenile Court System and the Community Schools. It is designed to provide employable construction skills that students can use upon graduation from high school.
Napa Workforce Investment Board – 2006, $3000 to support the development of a comprehensive youth services system centered on employment and the Napa Youth Council.
- Workforce Investment Board of Solano County – 2006, $3000 to provide additional services to youth.
- Workforce Investment Board of Solano County – 2005, $4000 to develop tools for outreach to Out-of School Youth and High school drop-outs.
- Napa Valley Workforce Investment Board – 2005, $4000 to improve and expand services to adult and youth jobseekers. The funds will be used to cover the cost of purchasing audio/visual equipment and materials used for the purpose of training and improving interview skills in the job search/job club workshops.
- Workforce Investment Board of Solano County (WIBSC) – $3000 to assist with development and implementation of a marketing campaign to inform Out-of-School Youth and High School Drop-outs, ages 15-21, of the Solano Employment Connection and WIBSC employment and training resources.
- Napa Valley Workforce Investment Board – $3000 to support the cost of enrolling members of their staff in a train-the-trainer program to be certified to train the customer service workshops as well as materials used to provide customer service training for 20 youth.
- Workforce Investment Board of Solano County – $7500 to enhance one-stop services for youth and support summer jobs initiatives for youth.
- Napa County Youth Networks – $6000 for programs preparing youth for jobs
- Land Trust of Napa County Connolly Ranch Agricultural & Environmental Education Center – $2000 to support a Farm Coordinator position responsible for developing and implementing vocational opportunities for high school students.
