About Us
The Imperial County Employer Advisory Council serves as a reliable resource for guidance on employment law, workforce development, and HR compliance. We support employers in Imperial County by offering helpful tools, updates on legislation, and networking opportunities to promote business success and workforce development.
Goals for EAC
The IVEAC is committed to:
- Keeping members informed on current and emerging laws, regulations, and workforce trends
- Connecting business owners and professionals to build a strong, collaborative network
- Providing support and resources to help resolve employer-employee matters
- Hosting expert-led monthly meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences on key business topics, including employment tax, disability insurance, unemployment insurance, EEO, and personnel management
- Delivering education and training in HR and related fields to strengthen employers’ ability to navigate workforce challenges confidently
- Researching areas of common interest to promote informed decision-making and best practices
- Supporting local economic development, community growth, and educational initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the Imperial Valley
