Beth Weisberg M.A., principal of the consulting firm Workplace Essentials, has for the past 20 years specialized in delivering a wide variety of high-impact training and coaching programs for managers, teams, and individual contributors in organizations of all types and sizes. Prior to founding Workplace Essentials, she was a director in a boutique human resources outsourcing firm providing human resource consulting to dozens of clients around the bay area. She also speaks frequently for groups all over northern California, including professional organizations, networking groups, and service clubs.
Workplace reality is emotions show up in our workplaces all the time, and emotional displays at work have the potential to create problems for everyone around. In the face of this, we could all use some sharpening of emotional intelligence skills plus practical strategies for understanding what’s behind all those emotions and how to manage unhelpful emotions in ourselves and others.
This seminar will explore:
- What’s the problem with emotions at work?
- Why do emotions cause such problems for us?
- What can we do about difficult emotions – our own and others’?
- And More.
