Details

When an employee (or ex-employee) shows up at an attorney's office, it's because they feel like they've been wronged somehow, someway by their employer.  But they don't always know exactly how they've been wronged. Enter the Employee-Plaintiff's attorney.  This is someone who knows all the right questions to ask, across all facets of the employment relationship.  They help the employee identify multiple issues -- even some of which the employee may have seemingly consented to (unofficially) during employment.  The headache of lawsuits, mediation, trial ensue, and more work piles on the desks of HR managers. These headaches can be avoided, but knowledge is key.

Join us for an inside look of what issues the Employee-Plaintiff's attorney hunts for when evaluating whether to support a client in a case against the employer.  This seminar will aid HR managers to review their business; policies and practices so that they can make any necessary changes to remain compliant in employment law. Topics will range from wage and hour issues, discrimination, harassment, negotiating severances, engaging in the interactive process, reasonable accommodations, and COVID-19 related issues.
