What is the Visalia Employer Advisory Council (EAC)?
The Visalia EAC is composed of employer volunteers representing a cross section of business and industry. The EAC was developed to promote a stronger partnership between the California EDD and the business community. Our commitment is to assist employers in conducting their business more effectively and efficiently, to provide information on employment related issues, and to enhance the communication between EDD and the private sector. The Visalia EAC is one of sixty similar organizations throughout California, all networking at the state level under the umbrella organization, the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC).
We offer an alternative to the large, faceless associations that are often expensive to attend/join and lose focus of what most employers are looking for. Our goal is to offer "nuts and bolts" information presented by experts and professionals that know their subject matter and can relate to day to day practical application. We offer great speakers who present information in "plain English" and are willing to answer direct questions during their presentations. We understand your time is valuable and strive to deliver top quality information for your investment. We are a business friendly group meeting with common interests and concerns desiring to promote healthy business growth.

Membership offers many privileges. For a nominal $25.00 per year membership fee per company, you receive discounts to all fee events plus access to the CEAC hotline for all your HR questions. Meetings offer expanded business opportunity through networking with other business professionals. Membership in the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC) is included. Many educational workshops are offered on topics of common concern/interest. A quarterly CEAC newsletter is available to you. CEAC plays an active part in legislative advocacy to protect the interests of employers.
